Need to get a eye exam and new lens, but I want to use my old frames.?

I spent 300 bucks on my frames and I want to get my moneys worth. Will walmart let me do this?

Yes we will, but there will be a $20 fee, and no warranty. So if the frames break, your SOL with the lenses. Also, do be surprised if the Optician tries to talk you out of it, we have a new policy where we get in trouble if to many(over 2%) of PT's use there own frame. Also, wal-mart no longer has instore labs it will take about 7 days for it to come in. Source(s): Optician-Walmart
That should be no problem. I've done it several times myself.
Anyplace should let you use your old frames. I just did. Had them made into sunglasses.
They will definitely let you do it. They will probably charge you $20 extra. If they have a lab on premises and your lenses in stock they may be able to do it in one hour. However, if they do not they may have to take your frames. Some Walmart labs also have the option of tracing your frames...ordering lenses and calling you when the lenses come in to put into your existing frame. It really depends on the store. If you cannot go without your frames you may want to call and find out what services your Walmart Vision Center provides.
