| *Contrast Sensitivity>>>eye twitch |
My eye is twitching and I do not know why? I am not tired so I don't know what is causing it? |
I heard that eye twitching happens when you're tired. My eye has been ding this for a few days now, almost a week... anyone know any other reasons for eye twitching? I had this happen to me once a few years back. It occurred off and on for a period of 3-4 days. I finally went to the doctor about it but he assured me it was just stress related and would stop on its own accord. I took a sleeping pill that evening and rested a full 8 hours and lthe problem was solved. if you've been lacking sleep overall your eye will twitch even if you don't feel tired...it means you're not giving your muscles enough rest It could be from nerves. Or it could be caused by a little infection in the corner of your eye or something in the eye that is causing irritation. If you go to the drug store and buy eye allergy drops, that will quiet down allergy and it also kills germs that cause infection. Then you will want to rest awhile, and take it easy to see if that clears it up. If it doesn't stop, you may have to see your eye doctor. Its natural for it to do so, and can last a week or longer before disappearing, its a but like hiccups! One cause could be bright lights such as that from your computer screen or the strip lights you find at schools and offices. If you can take a short break every hour and stare out of a window, looking and both distant and close objects =) You are probably deficient in magnesium. Health reports |
