If you wear non-prescripted contacts, does that mess up your eye sight? yea it's the same as if you wear eye glasses that are not your prescription, it can mess up your eyes and make your vision worse. but if you are talking about DEMO contacts like colored ones and stuff that don't have a prescription, they should be fine. Source(s): i've been wearing contacts since i was 13. and i'm now 15. no. I have never heard of it messing up your eyes however I know firsthand they are from mild to VERY uncomfortable. I bought my daughter two pairs already and she doesn't take care of them, I found out because they're uncomfortable for her. They make her eyes water, or they're dry and even one time they popped out of her eyes..LOL It's better to have your eyes examined and have some fit for you. I wear prescription lenses and even those sometimes nag me a little. So I can only imagine how non-prescription ones feel. You can't buy contacts unless you have a prescription.... Unless you get them from like a friend or soemthing and I'm pretty sure that yes it can damage your eyesight. So if you want contacts fo to an eyedoctor, if you want those coloured ones you can get them at an eyedoctor's even if you have perfect vision. You just have to have a prescription. |
