When i wear eyeliner, it makes my eyes look crooked? |
so what should i do to make them look not so crooked? when that happens, im usually wearing black eyeliner, so do you think that wearing a brownish eyeliner will help? Definitely try brown.. it's much softer and more natural. Black can be so harsh, but color alone isn't going to make your eyes look crooked. Are you using liquid, pencil, or cream? Liquid is easy to fudge up, so if you're using liquid I'd say switch to a soft creamy pencil. Lancome has these awesome new two-sided liners. They glide on like butter. Clinique Creamshaper for Eyes is pretty nice as well. I like a pencil like these 'cause you needn't be perfect.. gently smudge the line with a liner brush or sponge-tip. Some liners come with that sponge-tip on the opposite end for convenience. Smudging is also great for when the pencil skips and leaves a gap. I'd also say to just watch how wide your lines are. Start thin, it's easier to go thicker than to take color off. If your eyes are naturally asymmetrical you may need to line your eyes accordingly to create a visual balance. (IE - You may actually have to purposely make one line different from the other.) Make sure you always pull the line slightly up at the outer corner of your eye, never down. (Down = droopy.) Whew. Hope this helps! Good luck! If you have any more questions, I'd be happy to help. Source(s): Myself - I'm a makeup artist and used to work for Lancome. brown eyeliner wouldn't put emphasis on the crooked .. ness. You need to get the lines even and straight, if you cant do it use a lighter color so the mistakes dont show up as much. Mine do too some times, just take a little l;onger to do it. Take your time=) u should take a class on makeup or just hav a friend or sum1 help u that nos how 2 put it on! me! Either try the brownish color or just stop wearing it. |
