Some employer plans offer "flex accounts" a set amount of money that can be used for any procedure including LASIK.

Don't know if private insurance covers it. If it does, you can be sure that the cost of the insurance will be at least the same as or more than the cost of surgery--- insurance companies are profit making companies.

Most LASIK centres offer financing with affordable monthly payments that would likely be less than the cost of insurance.
Lasik is good and it helps a lot . No pain no glasses or contacts and it improves vision. The cost is around $3500 but there are many options also. You can pay monthly $48 and go. No interest and no downpayment for 18 months.
